This is spiritual freedom
I used to believe that freedom meant doing what I want, when I want, with whom I want. That vision painted a life of financial freedom, physical freedom, and social freedom—a life without limits.
Over time, I’ve learned that true freedom goes much deeper. It’s not just about where you can go or what you can buy. It’s about who you become and how you respond to life in all its wonderful forms.
These past few months, during my semi-sabbatical (that has taken years to become a possibility), I’ve been exploring this more expansive sense of freedom—the freedom to fully be myself, to follow my own rhythms, to rest, to create, to play. It’s been a season of so much joy, fun, and deep alignment. Its also been about rebuilding my physical energy and vitality after 3 decades consulting and running my own business, and navigating many simultaneous disruptions in recent years.
As I dive deeper still, I am working with a more profound freedom. One that is independent of my physical, financial, or social circumstances, and untouched by the chaos, uncertainty, conflict, loss, and suffering in the world around me—and sometimes within me.
This is spiritual freedom.
- The capacity to feel FREE no matter what is happening.
- to feel light, connected, joyful, loved, purposeful, and abundant – by choice
- by remembering who I truly am – an infinite being, having a temporary experience
- by connecting to source energy – love as our true nature
- by choosing to see life as an adventure – full of both joy and painful initiations, growth and plateaus, stuckness and breaking through edges to see new possibilities
- by being curious and excited when the unexpected comes up – thinking …I wonder what this will lead to … what new awareness, expansion, growth, or opportunity?
- by allowing and embracing all the feelings along the journey – grateful for the variety and juiciness of life on planet Earth
- by knowing my path will be shown when I stay tuned into my heart.
It doesn’t require everything in your life to be perfect. It doesn’t depend on your bank balance, your job title, or the approval of others. It begins with a choice: – To come home to yourself – To release old energies that keep you small or stuck – To trust that there is something bigger, wiser, and more loving guiding you
This is the essence of Quantum Energy Alchemy—remembering that you are already whole and free.
My heart has led me to Cape Town
- to focusing on my passion of Quantum Energy, meditation, learning, sharing and building community
- to rebuild my physical health and vitality by listening and not pushing
- to open myself up to the joy of loving and being loved more from the heart than the mind (with some glitches and forgetting along the way)
- to trust and allow my dream of living in Camps Bay with ocean and mountain views show up in the most unexpected way
- to have the courage to start sharing and teaching my authentic voice and message with the world.
